121 "A Mystic Flower that Steals Hearts! The Third Witch, Tellu"

Watching Tellu exterminate Mimet horrifies the three Outer Planet Soldiers in this episode. Neptune comments they can't be too idealistic, however. Witnessing such a thing seems to instill their beliefs. The Death Busters are ruthless and likely heartless. The three turn to go destroy the Messiah of Silence.

The six other sailor soldiers follow them. Moon orders them not to lay their hands on Hotaru. Chibi Moon defends that Hotaru isn't a bad girl. Mercury believes there is another way. Venus agrees.

Neptune and Pluto look at them with sad, somewhat sympathetic expressions. Uranus looks frustrated that they can't understand why they must do such and responds, "No matter how many ideals you line up with your mouth, the battle will not end."

Mars keeps up by arguing there has to be a good way if all of them think up a solution together. Jupiter insists they shouldn't give up. As far as the Outer Planet Soldiers are concerned though, they haven't enough time to think up idealistic routes. They have to act before it is too late.

I think they understand that it isn't Hotaru that is bad, and that makes it difficult for them, but they know what she will become. They know as Sailor Saturn she will act on her duty and be steadfast about it as they are. They know the reality of the situation.

They turn to leave. Pluto lingers for a while as Chibi Moon argues, but soon leaves as well. (Can't you just feel for Pluto each time she has to disobey the yet to be Royal Family members? Poor Pluto!)

During the battle against Tellu, Pluto takes a hard hit to protect Chibi Moon that knocks her out cold. It took a long time for her to recover consciousness again. Chibi Moon understands Pluto cares about her greatly in all of this and remembers just how wonderful a friend she is. Without anger, she still supports Hotaru though and hopes Pluto will understand that.
