Nyx and Magick

I know little on Wicca these days, but these are a few things I had learned that deal with Nyx when I was studying about it.

☽¤☾ Nyx is the mother of Hekate, the goddess of magick and known as the Triple Goddess.

☽¤☾ Nyx is the mother of the Moirai and Erinyes, who have also been identified with the Triple Goddess.

☽¤☾ Nyx is the goddess correspondence to primeval darkness, mental illness, and night magick.

☽¤☾ Her sacred flower is any night-blooming one.

☽¤☾ Her sacred candle color is black. In Wicca black candles are used in uncrossing rituals and spells designed to banish negativity or conjure spirits of the dead. Black is the traditional color used in necromantic divination.

☽¤☾ In Wizardry, she is considered Star Goddess, which is the personification of the night sky, with all the stars. The Milky Way is said to be the milk of her breasts expressed across the heavens to nourish life on all the infinite worlds. Star systems and planets are born from her. She is the spirit and body of our galaxy.
