Reasons Why

Do I need a reason? I like what I like. What more reason is there?


Alright, alright... why not? Let us see...


1. Why make a shrine to a character from Gundam Wing? All the other Gundam shows are better!

Eh, perhaps, but I haven't seen all the shows that pertain to the Gundam Universe. All I have sincerely seen is Gundam Wing. I never really intended to watch it either until I started writing all this stuff.
Anime doesn't stick to me like some people. I don't need to see the newest series or know all there is to know about every single anime out there. I usually only watch an anime when something about it sparks my interest. Usually, it is a character. Sometimes it is a scenario. In any case, something has to draw me in, not just the franchise itself.
I don't consider Gundam Wing remarkable, and I will likely not read the manga or watch the anime over and over again. Then again, I rarely watch or read anything again even if I adore it.

2. Why Gundam Wing? It is so old!

Yeah, I've known about it for years. In fact, I never truly watched the TV series though until after the release of Endless Waltz. Besides, this site is for my own personal "pleasure". I never really expect anyone to wander here.
Also, because the series is old, many sites dedicated to the characters or just the series are dying off. I find it a shame for those who like to have bouts of nostalgia and find it is no longer there.

3. Then why not pick a better character?

It isn't so much as choosing as it is being bothered by something. While there are many characters I like from movies, television series, cartoons, anime, manga, comics, graphic novels, books and whatnot... I never feel the need to covet them. I may like or adore a character greatly, but that never inspires me to show such by making a shrine.
What caused this little number to come along was annoyance. I like information. I like consistent information at that. While all the other characters from the Gundam Wing series, Trowa Barton ends up having varying hair colors listed, different origins, sometimes those origins are mixed up with his ethnicity and vice versa, age always varies, arguments on his sexual experience rise and all sorts of glorious things.
I merely wanted to get it all down, sort through and come to the most logical conclusion. What is the truth, what is the lie? So... here we go.

4. So you don't even like this character?

Oh, I like him. He's my favorite main character out of the male cast. I'm just saying I don't have to adore a character to write something on him or her. I'll write stuff on characters I feel nothing for if something doesn't sit right about what others put up about them.

5. How can you like him? He has no personality! He is boring!

That is nice to know. What does it matter to you? Also, since you don't value my opinion, why do you think I'd value yours?

6. Then why put in so much time? It is such a waste!

I have bouts of mania. Writing and preoccupying the mind makes for good therapy. Also, I figure it would be a waste not to do something with all the writing I produced. Thus, here we are.

7. Why is your site so boring?

I'm a boring person. I guess that just means I relate to Trowa?
