The main appeal is likely the fact that other than certain statistics, everything in the series leaves subtleties that are left up to the viewers. Despite that, it is rather perturbing when one considers someone's opinion or speculation as truth and tries to reinforce it as truth when it is undetermined. Is it not better to form one's own opinion rather than look to others and believe that to be the only truth?
Almost this entire essay has left one with exactly no firm answers to most of the debates and speculations. That was the point. Trowa Barton has been called mysterious for good reason. He is supposed to be. The other point is that if one is to put up information, it is likely better to do it first hand rather than relying on others who have relied on others without looking for the precise source themselves. I am quite a hypocrite.
