The following is an excerpt from a booklet included in the New Mobile Suit Report Gundam Wing Endless Waltz (Episode 3 "Return to Eternity") Laserdisc BEAL-979 which came out in 1997 by Bandai Visual. The booklet is a collection divided into four sections: Character Design I, Baskstage, Mechanical Design and Character Design II.

Character Design I

Trowa Barton
After the battle ended, he had returned to Catherine's circus troupe. Having happened to be touring the X18999 colony, he sensed the uneasy atmosphere and infiltrated the Mariemaia forces alone. Though his true identity was exposed by Dekim, he ended up participating in the battle as a member of the army. However, this was done with the foreknowledge that Heero and the others would move. This time, the mystery surrounding his past from the TV series and the origin of the name Trowa Barton are revealed.

Mechanical Design

Gundam Heavy Arms・Kai
Trowa's Mobile Suit. The basic concept of a heavily armed Gundam remains unchanged. Its portable weapon is now a large Double Gatling Gun, doubling its firepower. Once again, it will showcase the battle until every bullet is spent.

Character Design II

Trowa Barton
In Episode 1, he appeared as the mysterious man who showed Mariemaia's photo to Trowa. In truth, he was the heir to the Barton Foundation, the true Trowa Barton, the man who was supposed to pilot the Heavy Arms. However, due to his radical ideology-one that even condoned colony drops-he was killed by his own allies. His name and the Heavy Arms were then entrusted to the nameless boy present at the scene: Trowa.
