General Storyline:

Oniisama E... is a classic manga about girls at a private all-girls school. The storyline centers around Nanako, an average girl who is entering Seiran Gakuen the beginning of her senior school career.

The Academy is a prestigious girl's only school organization that caters to the rich, or in Nanako's case, those with test scores that are high. It is believed that her life will be like it always has been until she is soon selected to join the intensely sought out position of a Sorority member.

She, an outsider as most of the girls there had entered the system at elementary or junior high, is resented by all the other students because she doesn't appear to be qualified.

Her world suddenly changes in ways she never dreamed of as she is interwined into dramatic and melodramatic events, brutal politics that lie beneath the sophisticated facade of the school and must deal with serious issues that unravel as her year progresses.

All the while, she writes letters to a man she calls her "Oniisama" of her experiences. These letters form a sort of diary, which narrate her experiences at the school and the people that she meets.
