My stomach bug finally eased by the end of Tuesday. Thank all that is the duck! After a long absence of the CP and the Neko, they finally showed signs of life. Sadly, when Neko came around I had not had any sleep for at least twenty-four hours, so… I was sort of irritable and only half there. Of course, the duck intervened and struck my computer. It went out, thus I took at as a sign to say “Get the hell into bed!” Therefore, I did as told and for once in many months or so had slept seven to eight hours without waking up! By ducky! The world has come close to the end.
Additional trash to add into this lovely entry is that throughout the beginning of the week my web page is coming along nicely, if not frustratingly. Then again, after crunching html codes for about a day straight, only stopping for food or such, tends to get to you. In between, I worked on making buttons and banners. I was insane using x-small font. That is smaller than what my paint program will allow… thus I had the joys of “Prt Scrn”, copying, pasting, editing, outlining and then managing the copied text into a picture without screwing up. I am bloody mad… but hey, I am made for this sort of work as long as it is done with long sabbaticals in between.
My dad and brother came down and so far, I have not vacuumed and cannot sleep at night. On Friday I had been up all night, had a cramp for no reason, fell asleep at eight thirty, woke up around one and then ended up going to the grocery store while I still had my cramp. After unloading, I told my dad I would eat, but ended up being too tired and fell asleep again. I woke again around nine and finally ate then. Of course, I ended up staying up all night again after that. My pattern has continued as such.
By now I have redone parts of the web page, added in other links and have learned quite a bit about breast cancer and Japanese culture. I also have been killing much time making little sprites, like the ones you find in video games. They are freakishly cute. How scary… I am using “cute” in my vocabulary.
My poor father has not seen me as much as he would like. I sleep during the day. I have been waking up at nine PM as of late. It is my habit.
Well, it is now Monday… first of August. Wow. I will have to see the shrink soon. Anyway, tomorrow my father and brother will leave again. I am sorry to have disappointed my father, as he likely wanted to see me more. Sigh…
